Silks Audit traces its history back to 1904 when  Edwin Silk established the firm "EM Silk - FIANZ, Public Accountant & Auditor".

Principals David Fraser and Alan Badcock made the decision to separate the Audit Team from the Business Advisory Services team in 2010.

David Fraser and Cameron Town became the new Principals of Silks Audit in January 2011 while Alan Badcock successfully negotiated a deal to merge his team with a local Wanganui accountancy firm.

The separation of the two groups allows both teams the opportunity to evolve and expand while focussing on core business.

Silks Audit acts for clients throughout New Zealand with a concentration in the central and west coast of the North Island namely in the following regions: Wanganui, Taranaki, Central Plateau, Manawatu and Auckland.

SILKS has represented clients for over 100 years and Silks Audit is proud to continue this representation into the next century.

Our team is made up of:
2x Partners (David Fraser & Cameron Town)
1x Audit Manager (Talia Anderson-Town)
2x Senior Auditors
2x Intermediate Auditors
4x Junior Auditors

The first three staff members are Chartered Accountants and hold Certificates of Public Practice.

Six staff members have Degrees (and above) and 3 are studying towards higher qualifications.

4 are studying towards Degrees and Diplomas
